The list is very detailed and provides a start for a newly appointed administrator to become familiar with the unique school community.

 A committee established to review transition planning for administrators identified five key objectives that must be considered in the development of an entry plan:

1.      ensure a smooth transition between the incoming and outgoing administration

2.      develop a positive relationship with the staff and community

3.      learn about all aspects of the school organization and program priorities

4.      become familiar with the physical plant

5.      understand and build on the core values of the school community
